T200 Updates and Schedule

Starting Line Mile 112 of the Sterling Highway in Kasilof

Freddie’s Roadhouse in the Caribou Hills is at race mile 50 on the outbound and mile 150 on the return. A 4 hour layover on the return is mandatory all final time adjustments will be made at this checkpoint. The checkpoint is on the road system, dropped dogs can be picked up here and we encourage handlers to do so.

Homer is at race mile 100, the T200 will supply all T200 mushers with one ½ bale of straw and will transport dropped bags to this check point.  Homer will also accept dropped dogs, it’s on the road system and encourage handlers to pick up dropped dogs.  Dogs will be transported to Race Central several times during the race. This checkpoint is at Mile 12 of East End Road, McNeil Canyon Elementary School.

Vet Checks Noon – 5 at the Sports Center in Soldotna (vet check forms online help the process and pre-fill one out)

Mandatory Musher Meeting 5:15 PM at the Sports Center in Soldotna

Saturday February 2
11AM T200 starts   T100 will start 1 hour after the last T200 musher leaves the starting line.

Monday February 4
6PM Awards Banquet Soldotna Sports Center, doors open at 5:30PM
