Volunteer Resources

The Tustumena 200 Sled Dog Race Association is always looking for volunteers. Please choose a couple of areas you might want to volunteer in and we will find room for you.

*Trail Setup must have a snow machine. More details to follow.*

• Pre-Race setup, Yurts, Tents, etc - week of January 24, 2011
• Vet Check - January 28th, 12PM - 5PM
• Official Start
  • Anchors in Chute
  • Dog Handlers/Other Volunteers
  • Parking
• Caribou Lake Check Point - Checkers will need snow machine to access checkpoint
• Traffic Control - Clam Shell
• Clam Shell Check Point - Checkers, Dog Handlers/Other Volunteers
• Finish Line
• Banquets - Awards Banquets, JRT and Musher's Banquet
