Palakiiya has been mushing dogs since she was 4 years old. Her favorite thing about mushing is being out with her dogs, she says she is able to think clearly and it’s so much fun being alone with her friends doing something they both like!

Her hobbies include running dogs, playing the baritone and clarinet, playing soccer and basketball. Lead dogs are, Foxy, Maggie, Mocha, Jewl, Two and Jack Race Sponsors are Sweeney’s, Bruce Cox and Jaci Jager.

Naomi has also been mushing dogs since she was 4 years old. Her favorite things about mushing are the quiet, being around her best friends, competing with her twin sister Palakiiya) and sightseeing.

Her hobbies include playing the Tuba, mushing, soccer, basketball, reading softball and football. Lead dogs are Ebony, Melanie, Nook, Carlos, Haratio and Floyd Race Sponsors are Sweeney’s, Ninilchik Traditional Council, Hauna & Nolan, Sportsmans Warehouse.

Age 15
Sterling, Alaska
Conway has been running dogs for 11 years, he comes from a racing family.
He likes watching young untrained dogs develop and turn into experienced sled dogs.

Conway says his life is music, he is training to become a professional singer if you listen when he passes by you are sure to hear a song.

Age 15
Ben has been running dogs for 4 years, his hobbies include hunting, fishing, trapping, horseback riding and dog mushing
His favorite thing about dog mushing is being out on the trail in the quiet with the dogs.
